CLYDE CARD
Clyde loves hats.
He REALLY loves hats.
And no hat is more hat-tastic than the mysterious double-banded top hat he found in a chest in his uncle's attic. An excitable young boy, he's certain with this hat by his side (or top of his head), he'll be able to go on all the adventures he's longed to experience. "The Mysterious Case of the Sun Kind of Being in his Eyes", or "the Terrible Tale of Man It Is Kind Of Cold Out; My Hair Hurts How Does That Even Happen".
A bit over-eager, honest, and trusting to a fault, sometimes it takes him a while to notice that there is more to this hat than fashionable apparel as increasingly magical things happen to him and his family and friends.

CLARA CARD
There have been a lot of changes in Clara's life recently. A new school, a new town, the social pressure of maturing and adapting to how adults feel a young lady should act.
But more and more she finds herself wanting to break free and do her own thing. Raid the neighborhood garden, looking side to side, ever alert to danger with her keen ears and well-developed eyesight. She's not terribly pleased with the events surrounding her younger brother's hat, and her new role of balancing the responsibilities of a big sister with those of having been hit with a curse that's turned her into a rabbit.
But even if it takes all the sarcasm and moxie she can muster, she'll keep her brother safe, and maybe just take the school by storm.
